REACH pre-registration status and registration intentions

In accordance with the provisions of the REACH regulations, Esso/ExxonMobil, in those countries within the European Economic Area where it supplies fuels and propellants, has either pre-registered the products it supplies or obtained the appropriate pre-registration confirmations from its suppliers about their products or additives. The European Economic Area consists of the 27 Member States plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein.

Consequently, Esso/ExxonMobil expects to be able to continue to supply customers with the fuel products and propellants they currently purchase. However, should there be any changes in our supply plans, we will inform our customers at the earliest possible opportunity.

Esso/ExxonMobil intends to register its current range of fuel products and propellants by December 2010. Esso/ExxonMobil will also seek confirmation from its suppliers that they will register their products and/or additives by the required deadline(s).
