PRODUCT (PRE) – REGISTRATION UPDATE

 

 As part of our ongoing REACH communication plan and following the completion of the pre-registration phase of REACH, ExxonMobil has updated the following links to provide information on the pre-registration status of our products.

 The attached tables or texts refer only to ExxonMobil products which are purchased by customers directly from an ExxonMobil affiliate in the European Union. ExxonMobil products imported into the European Union by customers either directly or as part of a preparation are not covered by this data or information.

ExxonMobil continues to strongly recommend that customers should specifically assess their legal responsibilities under REACH when exporting or importing ExxonMobil substances or preparations which contain ExxonMobil substances to the European Union.

Note that ExxonMobil does not intend to release details of specific pre-registration numbers.

ExxonMobil will now be focusing on the development of the information which will be required for the registration dossiers in line with the appropriate registration deadlines.

Information on the use of our products and the associated exposure scenarios (where applicable) will need to be submitted as part of the registration dossier.   It is our intention to provide Downstream Users with access to the applicable Exposure Scenarios and supported uses of our products in a timely manner, consistent with the appropriate registration date.

Where possible we aim to exchange data through the use of standard industry tools in order to facilitate the efficient and effective transfer of this information.
