understanding which Uses are supported

The REACH regulation requires that manufacturers and importers to include a list of supported uses (and exposure scenarios) in their REACH registration dossiers and extended safety data sheets. ExxonMobil consulted with its own customers through early 2008 until 30th November 2009 to identify and create a consolidated list of uses for its Performance Fluids products. Our entire Performance Fluids portfolio are now identified with an end-use code as well as a product registration number.

It is anticipated that the vast majority of applications are adequately described . However, in the unlikely case that your application is not covered, then it is recommended that you communicate it to your ExxonMobil contact as soon as possible to provide details of the additional use that you would like ExxonMobil and/or its suppliers to consider.
