The world’s first concrete offshore LNG Terminal
The world’s first concrete offshore LNG Terminal is now being built in a large casting basin in Algeciras in southern Spain, not far from Gibraltar. The terminal is being built for Terminale GNL Adriatico (Adriatic LNG)- a joint venture company owned by affiliates of ExxonMobil (45%), Qatar Petroleum (45%), and Edison Spa.
