April 2006 - The world’s first concrete offshore LNG Terminal is now being built in a large casting basin in Algeciras in southern Spain, not far from Gibraltar. April 2006 - On 18 January the Norwegian Minister of Transport - Liv Signe Navarsete - officially opened a new facility at Gardermoen where aircraft are de-iced by using propane fired, infrared radiant heating. The facility, first of its kind in Europe, will make a strong contribution to a more environmentally friendly and cost efficient de-icing of aircraft.
