• December 2006 - REACH compromise package adopted
• June 1, 2007 - REACH legislation entered into force
• 1H 2008 - European Chemicals Agency established
• June 1 2008 - Pre-registration commences
• December 1, 2008 - Pre-registration closes
• February 2009 - Pre-registered substances published by the Agency. SIEFs created.
• 1Q 2009- Chemical Agency recommends priority substance for authorization
• December 1, 2010 - Registration closes for substances manufactured or imported in Europe above 1000 tonnes per year and some other substances*
• 2012 - Authorization process anticipated to commence
• June 1, 2013- Registration closes for substances manufactured or imported in Europe between 100 and 1000 tonnes per year
• June 1, 2018- Registration closes for substances manufactured or imported in Europe between 1 and 10 tonnes per year
