ExxonMobil Gas & Power Marketing is the world's largest non-government marketer of natural gas.

We sell 175 billion cubic metres of gas per year to markets in more than 25 countries. In addition we market associated products, including natural gas liquids (NGL), Helium and CO2.

Over the next decade, analysts project that the world demand for gas will grow faster than the demand for oil. Although most of the world's natural gas is supplied by pipeline, new technologies and changing markets are encouraging the demand for liquefied natural gas (LNG) which can be transported by ship.

ExxonMobil Gas & Power Marketing has its Europe office in London.

In Europe ExxonMobil sells 130 million cubic metres of our own produced gas per day, equal to approximately one tenth of European consumption. In addition, we make sales of 23 thousand tonnes of LPG and other liquefied gasses per day. We have part ownership in gas storage facilities, 65,000 km of onshore pipelines used to bring gas to market and 13 gas processing plants. We also have significant participation in the market through our ownership interest in Gasunie in The Netherlands and BEB and Ruhrgas in Germany. Furthermore, we are responsible for the purchase of electricity and gas for ExxonMobil's sites.

Europe represents 40 per cent of ExxonMobil's worldwide sales of own produced gas.
