Oil & Gas Exploration and Production (2006 figures)

• ExxonMobil produces 4086 millions of cubic feet of natural gas every day from fields in Norway, The Netherlands, Germany and the United Kingdom.

• Our net proved developed and undeveloped liquids reserves, including oil sands and non-consolidated reserves were 750 millions of barrels at year end.
  
  
• Our 2006 exploration and resource capture milestones are:
  • Ireland – ExxonMobil acquired an 80-percent interest in five blocks in the deepwater portion of the Irish Porcupine Basin, allowing evaluation of a newly identified exploration play area. ExxonMobil will fund the acquisition of additional exploration data to evaluate the hydrocarbon potential of the blocks. 
  
  • Norway – ExxonMobil increased its equity in the Tyrihans field, offshore Norway from 7 to 12 percent. First production from Tyrihans is anticipated in 2009.
  
  

Refining(2006 figures)

• ExxonMobil is one of the largest crude oil refiner in Europe, with an interest in 10 major refineries. Six refineries are fully owned and operated and three more are operated by ExxonMobil as majority shareholder.

• We are the largest refiner of lubricant base stocks, used for motor oil and lubricant products.

• Our total 2006 throughput was 1.6 million barrels a day with a utilization of refining capacity of 92%.

Drawing on our worldwide retailing experience and extensive consumer and market research, Fuels Marketing offers a portfolio of innovative market specific retail formats and products to fully meet our customers’ needs and expectations by delivering convenience, quality, and value. Further increasing nonfuels income continues to be one of the key priorities to optimize retail site profitability. In certain markets, we use strategic alliances with leading food and grocery marketers (Tesco in the United Kingdom) to complement our brand and enhance our convenience store offering by leveraging the strength of our partners’ brand value, expertise, and distribution network.

• We offer our premium products at retails sites featuring our award-winning On the Run convienience format.

• Our total number of retails sites was 7394 at year end 2006.

Lubricants & Specialties Marketing (2006 figures)
Motorsports sponsorships, like those in Formula 1 with the McLaren Mercedes and Toyota teams, provide ideal environments for developing and demonstrating our high-performance lubricants. Additionally, we have relationships with strategic accounts that extend off the track, through our technology partnerships with Toyota, DaimlerChrysler, General Motors, Peugeot, and Porsche, where we collaborate on developing innovative new lubricants. This long-term strategic approach leads to long-standing partnerships. In 2006, ExxonMobil celebrated 10 years of partnership with Porsche. Porsche recommends Mobil 1 motor oil exclusively and every new Porsche automobile rolls off the assembly line filled with Mobil 1 oil.

• We produce around 200 specialties (waxes, white oils and process oils) which are used as ingredients in the manufacture of many products.

Gas Marketing (2006 figures)

• We sold 5728 millions of cubic feet natural gas per day.
  
  
• Europe represents about 52% of ExxonMobil's worldwide natural gas sales.

• We have part ownership in gas storage facilities, 35,000 km of onshore pipelines used to bring gas to market and 13 gas processing plants.

• LNG Terminals
  
  • The Adriatic LNG Terminal will be the world’s first offshore fixed storage and regasification LNG terminal. The terminal will be located off Italy’s northern Adriatic coastline, 9 miles offshore Porto Levante, and will supply the Italian gas market with LNG from RasGas Train 4 in Qatar beginning in 2008. The concrete gravity base structure will contain two large LNG storage tanks and be grounded on the seafloor. The facility will have the capacity to supply 775 million cubic feet of gas daily.
  
  • Construction is well advanced on the South Hook LNG receiving terminal in Milford Haven, Wales. The terminal is expected to be opened in the first half of 2008. The Qatargas II project will supply the terminal with LNG. This former ExxonMobil refinery site is being redeveloped for LNG storage and regasification with two berths capable of receiving large Q-Max LNG ships. The terminal will have the capacity to deliver up to 2 billion cubic feet of gas daily into the U.K. grid.

• There are 18 manufacturing sites with the largest facilities in Belgium, France, The Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

• ExxonMobil Chemical Films produces and markets flexible packaging and labelling films.

• Our World-Class European Technology Centre (ETC) in Brussels provides technical services to customers, support to manufacturing and research for the company's basic chemicals, inter-mediates and polymers businesses.

• An Automotive and Appliances Development Laboratory at Lillebonne, France, offers design, engineering and analysis to polypropylene customers and conducts long-range R&D.
